'Razakar' Latif shifted to DMCH

Abdul Latif Talukdar, an alleged Razakar of Bagerhat, was shifted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital from Dhaka Central Jail yesterday as he fell sick due to "old age complications", jailer Nesar Alom told The Daily Star.

He is being treated there under police custody, he said.

Latif along with two other accused, Sheikh Sirajul Haque alias Siraj Master and Khan Akram Hossain, was accused of committing crimes against humanity and genocide in Bagerhat during the 1971 Liberation War.
