Rangunia upazila parishad chairman dies of Covid-19

Khalilur Rahman, chairman of Rangunia upazila parishad in Chattogram, died of Covid-19 infection today.

He breathed his last around 1:30pm today at Parkview Hospital, a private hospital in the port city, our staff correspondent reports from Chattogram.

He was 94, said Chattogram Civil surgeon Dr Sheikh Fazle Rabbi.

Khalilur was admitted to the hospital with coronavirus infection on July 6 and had been undergoing treatment at the ICU since then, said Humayun Kabir, manager of Parkview Hospital.
