Prime accused being brought back home tomorrow

The prime accused in Rajon murder case Kamrul Islam is being brought back home from Saudi Arabia tomorrow.

"Three police officers from Bangladesh have already reached Riyadh and are expected to return to Dhaka with the accused on October 15," said a press release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh.

Md Samiul Alam Rajon, 13, was tortured to death  by a group of brutes who were "punishing" him in Kumargaon Bus Stand area of Sylhet on July 8. Rajon's "crime", the accused claimed, was theft.

Meanwhile, a Sylhet court yesterday recorded testimonies of three witnesses on the 5th day of Rajon murder case trial.
