Police impersonator arrested in Ctg

Detectives yesterday arrested a person in Rahattarpole area of Chittagong city on charge of extorting money from people by impersonating police in Chittagong.

The arrestee is Himadri Biswas, 28, of Raozan upazila.

The law enforcers also seized 97 fake visiting cards with his name on it as a special branch officer of police, a pen drive, a laptop and a hard drive from his possession, said Deputy Commissioner of Detective Branch of Chittagong Metropolitan Police Kusum Dewan.
