Mother, daughter killed, father injured as train hits them

A woman and her seven-month-old daughter were killed while her husband was injured as an intercity train, Rangpur Express, hit them at Mulibari Rail Crossing in Sirajganj yesterday.

The deceased were Mukti Khatun, 25, and Sadia Khatun of Kolgoyla village.

Police said Saiful Islam along with his family was crossing the rail track when the rail gate was closed.
