Most of our agents were driven out of polling centres: BNP's mayoral candidate Shahadat

Shahadat Hossain, BNP's mayoral candidate for the Chattogram City Corporation election, alleged that most of his agents were driven out from polling centres after being beaten up.

"If he (presiding officer) does not see any agents of candidates at the centre, he has to ask about them. It is his duty to provide security of all agents," he said.

Shahadat said he spoke with the presiding officer. "The presiding officer needs to act neutral as he is part of Election Commission. It is their responsibility,"

Shahadat talked to the media after casting his vote at the administrative building of Bakalia Teachers' Training College around 10:00am.
