Minister asks officials to improve livestock sector for food security

State Minister for Fisheries and Animal Resources Narayan Chandra Chanda asked the field level officials concerned and other dairy and poultry farmers to boost the livestock sector for ensuring food security.

He was speaking at the "2nd Livestock Award Presentation and Annual Conference and Livestock-Poultry Fair-2015" held at Rajshahi University yesterday.

Bangladesh Livestock Society (BLS) organised the event.
