Mass signature campaign for justice starts on March 15

Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU) will launch a month-long mass signature campaign on March 15, demanding punishment for the killers of journalist couple Sagor and Runi and submit a memorandum with the signatures to the prime minister's office.

Razu Ahmed, its general secretary, announced it at a press conference at DRU yesterday as their one-month ultimatum to divulge visible progress in the investigation into the gruesome murder expired on Thursday.

On February 11, 2012, Sagor Sarowar, news editor of Maasranga TV, and his wife Meherun Runi, senior reporter of ATN Bangla, were murdered in their apartment in the capital.
