Manju urges global leaders to enact law to fight climate change
Environment and Forests Minister Anwar Hossain Manju has said the world leaders needed to adopt a law to save the earth from the risk of climate change.
"It is a global crisis. None of the developing and developed nations will be able to avert the risk of climate change. All need to be united to solve the problem," he said.
The minister made the comments recently during the annual Innovation for Cool Earth Forum (ACIF) conference in Tokyo, Japan, attended by over 1,000 delegates including ministers from 70 countries, says a press note.
Manju said Bangladesh with its limited resources has been working to tackle the risks of climate change.
