Man killed, son hurt in Ctg attack

An elderly person was killed and his son injured after a group of seven to eight people attacked them with sharp weapons in the hilly area of Jangal Sarafbhata of Rangunia upazila in Chittagong yesterday.

The deceased was Md Ukil Ahmed, 52, and the injured Md Ismail, 15. The incident might have occurred over land dispute, said police.  Ismail was sent to Chittagong Medical College Hospital.
