Labaid hospital fined Tk 10 lakh for storing unauthorised medicines

A mobile court yesterday fined Labaid hospital in the capital's Dhanmondi Tk 10 lakh for storing unauthorised medicines imported from different countries.

Firoz Alam, executive magistrate of Rapid Action Battalion, told The Daily Star that they seized 26 kinds of unauthorised medicines found in its medicine store but did not take further action as the hospital authorities paid the fine.
