Jar water factory sealed off

A mobile court yesterday sealed off "Meniba Water", a drinking water supplying factory, at Pashchim Madarbari of Chittagong city, for selling water without license.

Mohammad Ruhul Amin, executive magistrate of Chittagong district administration, led the drive.

The court also seized around 30kg of rotten Dalda, 10 litres of burnt oil, harmful dye and rotten spices from "Didar Bakery" and a restaurant in the same area and dumped into a drain, he said.

The owners fled the scene.
