Indian Coast Guard DG visits Ctg

Director General (DG) of Indian Cast Guard Vice Admiral HCS Bisht, AVSM called on Zonal Commander of Bangladesh Coast Guard (east zone) Captain M Shahidul Islam at the latter's office in Chittagong on Thursday.

The DG was with two other delegates, says a press release. During the visit, he praised Bangladesh Coast Guard for playing an effective role in resisting smuggling and human trafficking through the sea route and sought cooperation from Bangladesh to prevent such kind of criminal activities.
