Humayun new envoy to Kenya

The government has decided to appoint Maj Gen Abul Kalam Mohammad Humayun Kabir as the next high commissioner of Bangladesh to Kenya, said a foreign ministry announcement yesterday.

He served as the chairman of Sena Kalyan Sangstha, military secretary to the president, vice-chancellor of Bangladesh University of Professionals, chief of Doctrine, Army Training and Doctrine Command, general staff officer first grade, and also at a UN Mission in Mozambique.
