Human trafficker arrested in Ctg

Detective Branch of police arrested an enlisted human trafficker in Chamrar Gudam area in Chittagong city yesterday.

Md Jakaria, 30, of Hoaikhong village in Teknaf, is accused in several cases filed with Patenga, Cox's Bazar and Teknaf police stations, said police.

Around 400 Malaysia-bound people were trafficked from different points of Teknaf and Cox's Bazar through his boat in last three years, police added.
