Human chain formed to save Jamburi field in Ctg

Chittagong city dwellers yesterday formed a human-chain protesting the decision to turn the city's Jamburi field into a park and demanded to declare it as an open playground.

Khelar Maath Roksha Committee of Chittagong city-unit made the demand in front of Chittagong Press Club.

The speakers alleged that though the Housing and Public Works ministry earlier cancelled its decision to make a park there following demonstrations now it is secretly trying to follow its decision.
