Human chain formed protesting attacks on minorities

Bangladesh Hindu-Buddhist-Christian Unity Council yesterday formed a human chain in Barisal city protesting the recent attacks on religious minorities.
Speakers at the programme, in front of Aswani Kumar Hall, also demanded immediate trial of the perpetrators.
Condemning the attacks, including that on their council's Faridpur unit General Secretary Alok Sen and on two priests in Dinajpur and Pabna, speakers also claimed that communal attacks increased in the country but police were not taking enough action.
