Girl 'commits suicide swallowing insecticide', mom's attempt fails

A girl died after she and her mother allegedly took insecticides over a family feud at Kolshi Dighir Par under Bandar Police Station in Chittagong city on Friday.

The deceased was Khadija Akter, 13. Her mother, Aklima Begum, 30, is undergoing treatment at Chittagong Medical College Hospital. On information police rushed there and rescued them breaking open the door. Later, Khadija died on way to hospital.
