Gazipur girl commits suicide for failing HSC exam

Another girl allegedly committed suicide in Gazipur's Bhaorayed area on Tuesday as she failed this year's Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination, result of which was published on Sunday.

Shima Akhter, 18, daughter of Nasir Uddin Hawladar of Bhaorayed area, hanged herself from a ceiling fan in her house.

Police sent the body to Gazipur Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmed Medical College morgue for autopsy. On Sunday, another girl committed suicide for the same reason.
