Gas crisis keeps choking Ctg city

Gas crisis in Chittagong city continued for the fourth day yesterday. Many areas of the city have not been getting any gas, while others are getting at a very low pressure since Saturday. Officials of Karnaphuli Gas Distribution Company Limited said the situation would return to normal in two to three days, adding that Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation officials told them Bibiana Gas Field had been producing 550 million standard cubic feet less than usual, as overflow of condensate had affected the pipeline.
