Five diagnostic centres fined Tk 12.2 lakh for making fake reports

A mobile court of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) yesterday fined five diagnostic centres Tk 12.2 lakh in the capital's Mirpur-1 for providing fake medical reports with forged signatures of physicians, and using expired chemicals, said a press release.

Most of the employees at the pathology sections of Madison Diagnostic Centre, Padma Pathology Lab, Saik Digital Diagnostic Lab, Medinet Medical Services, and Doctor Amanat Khan Hospital did not have required education and training, it added.
