Errant food shop fined in Ctg

A mobile court of the Chittagong district administration yesterday fined a food shop Tk 1 lakh in Al-karon area of Chittagong city for various irregularities.
During the drive, the court found that workers at the factory of Malancha Food Corner did not maintain hygiene and were using stale and adulterated items for making foods.
About 30 litres of burnt oil and a large amount of stale sugar syrup were also seized from there and destroyed later.
