Eight 'robbers' held in Ctg

Bangladesh Coast Guard arrested eight alleged robbers with a fishing boat in Sandwip upazila of Chittagong on Saturday night.

The arrestees are Abul Kashem, 22, Ekram Hossain, 26, Abul Kashem, 26, Md Nazim, 21, Md Khaled, 25, Zakir Hossain, 28, Rubel Hossain, 26 and Babul Hossain, 26.

On information that the gang were preparing to conduct a robbery, Coast Guard members rushed to the Soakhali Ghat and arrested them, said Lieutenant Commander M Muhinuzzaman of Coast Guard.
