Drug peddlers' clash over profit sharing injures one, 4 arrested

A drug peddler was stabbed by his partners over a profit sharing dispute at Dhakaipotty in Dinajpur town on Thursday night.

Injured Saddam Hossain, 26, son of Hossain Ali, is now undergoing treatment at Rangpur Medical College Hospital.

Locals said around six to eight drug peddlers split into two groups and clashed with sharp weapons over sharing of profit, which left Saddam badly injured.

Police arrested Rana, 20, Ratan, 22, Aniq, 18, and Rana, 20, in this connection. A case was filed, said ATM Khalequzzaman, officer-in-charge of Dinajpur Kotwali police.
