Dhamrai upazila parishad chairman suspended

The Local Government Division under the ministry of local government, rural development and cooperatives suspended Dhamrai Upazila Parishad Chairman Tamij Uddin.

An order issued from the division signed by Zuliya Moin, senior assistant secretary of local government division, said Tamij was temporarily suspended as the court accepted the charge sheet of a case filed against him on January 11.

The case was filed over subversive activities during BNP-led 20-party alliance's hartal earlier this year.
