CU authority asks risky hill dwellers to evacuate

The authorities of Chittagong University yesterday urged the people living in the risky hill slopes of the campus to shift to safer places.

It made this announcement through a loud speaker in Probashi Colony, Hill Botomarea, Central field and University Gate No-2 areas after overnight incessant rain.

A total of 25 families dwell in the risky hill slopes there.

In 20007, five people were killed in landslides on the campus.
