Ctg worker dies from electrocution

A construction worker died from electrocution while he was working in a building in Chittagong city's Halishahar yesterday afternoon.

Monir Hossain, 18, son of Rofiqul Islam of Manpura in Bhola, fell from the second floor of the five-storey under-construction building after he had come in touch with a leaked electric cable, said police.

His fellows took him to Chittagong Medical College Hospital where he was declared dead, CMCH sources said.
