Ctg fugitive convict arrested

Acting on a tip off, police conducted a raid in Aturar Depot area and arrested a fugitive convict from Bayezid area in the port city early yesterday.

The arrestee, Siraj Kabir alias Jani, 26, is the son of Nur Ahemd of Jangalpara under Bayezid Police Station.

Siraj was on the run after a court sentenced him to three years imprisonment in a snatching case.
