Construction worker falls to death, another injured

A construction worker died and another was injured after they fell from an under-construction building in Dakkhin Khulshi area of Chittagong city yesterday.

The deceased was Samirul Islam, 20, of Chapainawabganj.

Samirul and co-worker Suman, 20, fell down from the 4th floor of the seven-storey building as the scaffolding collapsed while they were working, said police.

They were rushed to Chittagong Medical College Hospital where Samirul died.
