Commemorative programme on Beggzadi Mahmuda Nasir held

A commemorative programme was held in remembrance of Beggzadi Mahmuda Nasir, the founding principal of Central Women's College, on the institution's premises in the capital's Tikatuli yesterday.
Prof Emeritus Serajul Islam Choudhury, Parween Hasan, Central Women's University (CWU) VC, and writer Shawkat Ali were present at the event organised by Central Women's College Alumni Association. A documentary on Beggzadi was screened followed by a doa mahfil. She died on November 2 at the age of 86.
