CMCH finally gets electricity back

The authorities of Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) installed a new transformer yesterday three days after the old one went out of order.

CMCH Director Brig Gen Khondakar Shahidul Ghani said the 2,000KV transformer was switched on around 5:00pm. Patients in the hospital had been suffering due to a power outage after its 60-year-old transformer exploded on Thursday.
