CID presses charges against five

The Criminal Investigation Department yesterday pressed charges against five persons in a case over the death of a judge at Mollapara in Halishahar of Chittagong city on September 16, 2014.

According to the CID probe, Sanjida Ahmed Mishu hit the additional district and session judge of Naogaon, Kazi Abdul Hasib Mohammad Sayeed, in the head with scissors during an altercation in her house. Sayeed married Sanjida without the consent of his first wife, it adds. The accused are Sanjida, her parents , brother and their domestic help.
