CCC workers protest termination of six colleagues

Workers of Chittagong City Corporation yesterday demonstrated in front of CCC office protesting termination of six conservancy workers on Tuesday.

About 100 workers joined the programme for around an hour.

Morshedul Alam Chowdhury, general secretary of CBA of CCC, claimed the CCC secretary sacked the workers as they could not join their workplaces only for one day on September 10, 2015.

CCC Secretary Rashid Ahmad, however, said they signed attendance register but were not on duty.
