BSTI sues 7 bakeries in port city

Bangladesh Standards and Testing Institution (BSTI) yesterday filed cases against seven bakeries in Chittagong city for producing and selling food products without BSTI license.

The cases were filed following a drive on Monday in city's Dewanhat and Bibirhat areas, BSTI officials said.

The bakeries are M/s Tuni Food, M/s Mumbai Sweets and Bakers, Mabia Bakery, M/s Tripti Foods Products and Confectionary, M/s Bajal Bakery, M/s Mayer Doya Bakery and M/s Hazi Mannan Bakery and Confectionary.
