Boy's body found in marsh in capital

Residents of Dhaka's Demra area yesterday found the body of a preteen boy left in a marsh near the Balu river.

The boy, aged around 10 to 12, had stab wounds in his abdomen and a bruise on his throat, said Kawsar Ahmed, officer-in-charge of Demra Police Station.

The body was sent to Sir Salimullah Medical College Hospital for an autopsy.

No case has yet been filed.
