Barisal Divisional Museum inaugurated

The Barisal Divisional Museum was inaugurated yesterday.

The two-century-old collectorate building of Barisal was turned into the museum. Cultural Affairs Minister Asaduzzaman Noor inaugurated the museum eight years after it was completed in June 2007.

The museum will be open to the public on weekdays from 10:00am to 6:00pm in summer and 9:00am to 6:00pm during winter. The entry fee is Tk 5 for children below the age of five and Tk 10 for others.
