Barisal city gets two govt schools

Barisal city will get two government secondary schools after 55 years. Amir Hossain Amu, industries minister, inaugurated the schools and laid foundation on the temporary Campus at Barisal Zilla School yesterday.

Around 500 students enrolled already, said Dr Gazi Saifuzzaman, deputy commissioner of Barisal.

The construction of Kawnia Govt Secondary School and Rupatali Govt Secondary School will complete in January 2017, confirmed Zahangir Alom, executive engineer of Barisal education engineering department.
