Bangladesh to host World Congress on Information Technology-2021

Bangladesh has been elected as a host country for arranging "World Congress on Information Technology (WCIT)-2021", the largest event in information technology.

World Information Technology and Services Alliance yesterday selected Bangladesh as it bagged the majority votes after defeating Australia, the ICT division sources said.

Secretary General of WITSA Dr James H Poisant, President of Australian Information Industry Association Rob Fitzpatrick and Chairman of National Association of Software and Services Companies R Chandra Shekhaor also attended the meeting.
