BAF helicopter makes emergency landing

A helicopter of Bangladesh Air Force was forced to make an emergency landing on a paddy field in Mirsarai of Chittagong after its main gear box caught fire yesterday.

The helicopter, a MI-17, made the emergency landing in East Durgapur area around 3:50pm, according an official of BAF Jahurul Haque Base. 

The BAF sources said there were three people, including the pilot, on the helicopter.
