ATN News staff found dead in lake

An ATN News receptionist was found dead in Hatirjheel lake in the capital yesterday.

On information from the control room that somebody fell into the lake, divers of fire service recovered the body of Tawhid Hasan Banty, 28, said fire service sources.

Mashiure Rahman, officer-in-charge of Ramna Police Station, claimed it was a suicide.

However, Tawhid's brother Towfiq Hassan told journalists at Dhaka Medical College Hospital that he did not know the reason behind his death.
