9-day events to celebrate NSU's 24th anniversary start tomorrow

In celebration of its 24th anniversary, North South University hosted a view exchange session titled, "Celebrating 24 Years of Glory" yesterday.

Before starting its nine-day celebration programme, the session was held to exchange views between the NSU authority and editors and senior reporters of different national dailies.

The celebration programme, which will start tomorrow and end on March 11, will be held on its own campus.

The programme includes a colourful inaugural and closing sessions, seminars, lectures, cultural shows, rallies, sports, debate competitions, drama, alumni activities, international evening, Confucius/Chinese programmes, book publishing, Dhaka City cleaning awareness programme.

The session was attended by MA Kashem, chairman of the NSU Board of Trustees, its members, NSU Vice-Chancellor Prof Atiqul Islam and Treasurer Prof Gour Gobinda Goswami, Deans of four schools, chairs and faculty members were also present.

The editors congratulated NSU on their achievement and also urged the authorities to maintain its current standard like any international university.
