82 Bangladeshi students get EU scholarship
Around 47 Bangladeshis students have been selected for European Union Scholarship to go for higher studies in Europe to complete masters or doctorates degrees, says a press release.
Another 35 Bangladeshi nationals have also been selected to pursue courses of different duration at academic institutions in EU Member States working in partnership with Bangladeshi universities.
EU Ambassador and Head of Delegation to Bangladesh Pierre Mayaudon yesterday met the 82 students who will benefit from the scholarships under the "Erasmus+" programme.
The programme aims to enhance the quality of higher education by promoting dialogue as well as understanding between people and cultures through mobility and academic cooperation.
A European higher education fair in Bangladesh will be organised in next year to reinforce the partnership between Bangladeshi and European universities.
