24 return home from India

Some 24 Bangladeshi nationals, hailing from Chapainawabganj district, returned home through Shewla check post here on Friday after serving jail terms in India.

Indian immigration authorities handed them over to Bangladesh police.

Shewla immigration police said Indian police arrested 31 Bangladeshis after human traffickers sent them there in 2012, promising jobs.
