2 'Jamaat men' held with firearm

Police arrested two alleged Jamaat-e-Islami men with a gun at Mirzarkhil in Satkania upazila of Chittagong yesterday.
The arrestees are Aminul Islam, 32, of Mirzarkhil and Jahir Ahmed, 37, of Eochia village. Of them, Jahir is accused in 12 cases filed over robbery, arms recovery and subversive activities, said police.
On information, police conducted a drive at a house and arrested the duo. Later, a one-barrel-gun was recovered from their possession.
