2 fake doctors, dentist jailed for one year in capital

A mobile court yesterday sentenced two fake doctors and a dentist to one-year imprisonment each in the capital's Adabar.

The court led by an executive magistrate also fined them Tk 1 lakh, in default to serve three more months in prison.

Rab claimed that the trio -- Shafiullah Khan of Khan Medicine Corner, Tarikul Islam of Joy Medicine Corner, and MM Rasheduzzaman of Nahid Dental Surgery -- had been treating people as special doctors for years but could not show any valid documents.
