12 Ctg BNP men sent to jail

A Chittagong court yesterday sent 12 BNP men to jail in an explosive case.
It passed the order after the BNP men, including its EPZ unit's convener Sarfaraj Kader Russel, surrendered before it seeking bail, said court sources.
According to the case, on February 10 in 2015, the BNP activists exploded several crude bombs in Bandartila area under EPZ Police Station during hartal enforced by the then BNP-led 20-party alliance to create panic among people.
