100 illegal structures demolished in Ctg port

The Chittagong Port Authority (CPA) yesterday demolished 100 illegal structures from Uttar Port Colony of the city.

The tin-roofed structures, including a club of Jubo League Port Colony unit, were built up occupying the land of CPA, officials of CPA said.

Chittagong Metropolitan Police and CPA Ansar members assisted the drive.

Police fired four blank shots after some occupiers hurled brick chips at them during the drive.
