10 awarded for role in dev

The Universal Sufi Festival Committee yesterday awarded ten persons for their contribution to the country's development, at its 13th festival at the capital's Jatiya Press Club, said a press release.

The awardees included Premier University's Vice-Chancellor Anupam Sen, actor Raisul Islam Asad, technologist Mustafa Jabbar, Chittagong Development Authority Chairman Abdus Salam, head of National Kidney and Urology Hospital Dr Delwar Hosain, lyricist and composer Baul Shah Alam Sarkar.
