BRAC Bank and BRAC University launched the fifth batch of Uddokta 101 recently. This cohort received a total of 75 applications from women entrepreneurs.

“Bangladesh is moving forward to become a developed country by 2041. To accelerate the trajectory of development, trade and commerce play a pivotal role. In the upcoming 13th WTO Ministerial Conference (MC) at Abu Dhabi, we will try to negotiate to get the best outcomes for our country as we are graduating from LDC in 2026,” said Ahasanul Islam (Titu), MP, State Minister, Ministry of Commerce, Bangladesh.

Team BUP achieved a historic win at Jessup Bangladesh, marking a triumphant moment for Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) and making them the flag bearer of Bangladesh at the international rounds in Washington DC, USA. 

North South University (NSU) hosted its Spring semester orientation programme. A total of 23 students were awarded merit-based 100 percent scholarships for their outstanding results in the undergraduate (honours) admission test in 17 departments of four schools of the university.

Istanbul Okan University (IOU), a university recognised for its commitment to global education, marked a milestone by establishing its first office in Bangladesh in collaboration with GMC studies. The inauguration ceremony took place on January 14. The event was graced with the presence of distinguished guests and attendees from both organisations.

Northern University Bangladesh (NUB) hosted a roundtable discussion titled "The Evolving Careers in Supply Chain Management: Trends, Challenges, and Opportunities" on January 27, bringing together renowned academics and industry leaders to explore the dynamic landscape of SCM in Bangladesh and beyond.

Chittagong Independent University (CIU) welcomed the freshers’ of Spring 2024 semester on January 24 at the CIU Auditorium. Trustee Towhid Samad, Chairman, BoT, was the Chief Guest and the orientation speaker. Dr Mahfuzul Hoque Chowdhury, Vice Chancellor, CIU, chaired the event.
