AIUB wins University Innovation Exhibition Award at Bangladesh Innovation Fair 2026

The American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) was recognised as one of the top five winners of the University Innovation Exhibition Award at the Bangladesh Innovation Fair 2026. Organised by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, the fair was held from September 12 to September 14 at the Novo Theatre, Dhaka, under the theme “Innovate to Market”.

The event brought together universities, researchers, innovators, industries, investors, policymakers, government officials, educators, and students to promote innovation, entrepreneurship, and the transformation of research and technological ideas into practical and market-orientated solutions. The AIUB stall attracted significant attention from distinguished guests, government officials, industry representatives, investors, academics, researchers, and visitors.

Faqir Mahbub Anam, MP, Minister of Post and Telecommunication, ICT Division, and Ministry of Science and Technology, Bangladesh, and Md Anwar Hossain, Secretary of the Ministry of Science and Technology, visited the AIUB stall and observed the innovative projects and technological solutions showcased by the university. Among more than 70 public and private universities participating from across Bangladesh, only five universities were selected for the University Innovation Exhibition Award, making this recognition a significant achievement for AIUB. AIUB appreciates the contributions of its students, faculty members, researchers, and participating teams and acknowledges the support of the concerned offices and AIUB Management in promoting research, innovation, and academic excellence.
